“Leah is a dynamic, relatable speaker who had us both laughing and crying when she shared with our group. Not only is she currently walking through the ever-challenging preschool years, but she has such a beautifully encouraging perspective. She really encouraged our moms not just to survive, but to thrive in finding creative ways to connect with their young children and find humor and perspective in the tough moments! If you are looking for a speaker who can truly relate from the trenches of young motherhood, Leah is the PERFECT choice! I immediately implemented a couple of the ideas she shared, and have been so encouraged by the difference a simple change in perspective can bring.”

“From the moment Leah started speaking, we were laughing, nodding in agreement and taking notes. She has a special, timeless message about enjoying your children in the chaos of these little years. She is funny, encouraging and entertaining! Leah has a way of connecting to moms in a humorous, memorable way. We highly recommend her to other groups!”

“What a joy it was to have Leah Spina speak to our group. Professional and prepared, she shared stories and points that were funny and resonated for a mom of preschoolers. I even had a take away; using every day occurrences (diaper changes, car seat buckling, handing out a snack, etc.) to be the trigger to cause me as a mom to stop, and connect with my child’s heart. It could be a kiss, a high five, and cupping of their face and staring in their eyes for a moment. Simple, yet powerful! Several moms took notes and shared they really enjoyed her.”

“Leah was such a wonderful speaker. She was very organized and professional. Her presentation was beautiful and her words were well thought out. We requested discussion questions we could talk through with our group, which was promptly delivered. Leah was also relatable. We are a group of mothers with young children at home, which is exactly where she is in life. She told real life struggles with humor and humility. Leah had our group laughing throughout her whole talk. Lastly, she shared great ideas to embrace the small victories every day. We had many moms buying her book for themselves and as gifts! Leah is a funny, witty, relatable speaker that any group would love to hear!”

“Leah Spina came and talked to our group this week and she was a huge hit! She was captivating from the start. She shared the ups and downs of her personal journey in motherhood and she had me laughing and crying. She’s also a mom of preschoolers, so she’s very relatable. I thoroughly enjoyed the topic of her presentation as well as her delivery style. She was a blessing to our group!!”

The Value in Writing Thank-you Notes – even as a busy mom!

When I was 12-years-old, I loved stationary and hand-writing thank-you notes. I loved opening my drawer to find the perfect card for the recipient. I had all the time in the world, and had fun trying new ways to swirl letters. I tried to be witty and heartfelt in my LONG thank-you notes. Later, I […]

Facing Fear when you are a Christian

Facing fear. 13 weeks. That’s when I miscarried our second baby. My husband David and I had gone in for a routine OBGYN visit and ultrasound at week 10. The large black screen mounted on the wall showed a beautiful baby that was still at the bottom of my uterus. Instead of the reassuring THUD, […]

Finding out we were pregnant with baby #4!

How we found out we were pregnant with baby number four! FINDING OUT “Honey!” I whispered, shaking Dave’s sleeping form in the dark room at 6:45 am. “HONEY! I just took a pregnancy test and there is a faint line. I think I might be pregnant. But I also think I don’t know.” Dave, half-asleep, […]
